The Core Logic of Infectious Diseases

A.       The Livable Place

For humans, all infectious diseases are essentially because foreign microorganisms (bacteria or viruses) find the "Livable Place" in the human body and then reproduce until the body cannot bear them. This truth is like that humans themselves like to settle and breed in rivers and fertile places. Livable Place for people, livable place for microorganisms too.

 

It can be inferred that the place of a disease occurring is most likely the "Livable Place" for viruses (or bacteria).

B.       The Invasion Place

The "Invasion Place" is the first stop for viruses (bacterial are similar) to enter the body directly. Different viruses has the different "Invasion Place" to the human body. For viruses that can march in the human body, their "Invasion Place" may not necessarily to be the "Livable Place", but for viruses that cannot march in the human body, if a disease occurs, its "Invasion Place" is highly likely to be the "Livable Place". Whether the virus can march in the human body and maintain a strong infectious ability depends on whether it can protect itself in the variable environment (e.g. blood environment, gastric juice environment, etc.).

C.       The Outbreak Place

The "Outbreak Place" is the place for viruses (bacterial are similar) multiply and start to leave the body and spread outwards. Different viruses has the different "Outbreak Place" in the human body.

 

It can be inferred that the "livable place" of the virus is most likely its "outbreak place".

 

D.      The Refuge Place

 

The "Refuge Place" is a place where the virus takes refuge in somewhere of the human body. Although the virus has invaded the human body, it may not find a "livable place" at that time. The virus had to survive in the "Refuge Place" first and wait for the opportunity to outbreak.

 

E.       The “Livable Place” for coronavirus (COVID-19)

 

The Major Livable Place of the coronavirus is also its severe illness Outbreak Place - The (bottom of the) Lungs, the symptoms of the disease call Lung Disease. The lungs are the most important place that virus invasion, living and outbreak. So, where is the virus that causes Lung Disease invade directly? Personally thinking, the virus Invasion Place is highly likely to be the lungs (i.e. the virus is inhaled and directly invaded the lungs). The reasons are as follows:

 

1) The virus invades the lungs directly and is outbreak directly from the lungs, which is consistent with the quick speed with which the outbreak spreads.

2) The virus is directly inhaled into the lungs, leaping over multiple immune response sensitive defense lines such as Nose & throat, resulting immune response delayed first, and then suddenly severe, which often develops into a Severe Illness.

3) The shape of this virus is spherical, the spherical is a geometric shape that pursues stability and rejects changeable. The spherical virus has good air floating characteristics, but when long-distance march in the human body, its shape is easily destroyed, and its infectiousness will be greatly reduced. Therefore, its Invasion Place is highly likely to be directly in the lungs.

Key Point: On understanding the virus's "Livable Place", "Invasion Place", "Outbreak Place" and "Refuge Place" will help to clarify the true path of spreading the virus.

F.        How the new coronavirus (COVID-19) invades

At present, many experts believe that the coronavirus is mainly transmitted by contact virus from droplets, the experts who hold this view still stay in the habit of influenza thinking, so-called professional guidelines are derived from the experience of influenza and not fit the COVID disease facts. Personally thinking, exposure to the droplets should not be the (main) path of infection of the coronavirus (COVID-19) that causes Lung disease, here's the analysis at two main situations:

 

Ø  Situation 1: The Droplet Virus invades the URT&E (Upper Respiratory Tract & Eyes) directly and camps there.

Analysis: Situation 1 usually causes mild infections in the URT&E for the following reasons:

1) The symptoms show: Less sputum and snot, i.e. less material basis for the droplets.

2) If the COVID is infected in this way, its Invasion Place should be the URT&E, if the virus outbreaks there, its symptoms should be the strong URT&E Disease, but most cases do not seem to be like this, indicating that the URT&E is not The Livable Place of the coronavirus.

3) Not The Living Place can only indicate that the URT&E environment is not livable for the virus, but does not mean that there will not be infected. Fortunately, even if infected, nasopharyngeal and other URT&E organs can make a timely immune response, so it should be more of Mild Illness.

 

Ø  Situation 2: The Droplet Virus invades the URT&E and moves down to lung infections, which eventually cause Lung disease.

Analysis: There is no evidence to support the existence of situation 2. In the future, I hope to see relevant evidence, especially the evidence of human-to-human transmission of the coronavirus (COVID-19) through body fluids or blood. Under the premise of doubts about the facts, one should not blindly assume that droplets and contact infection of the virus are the main path of invade and spread of sever Lung Disease. Personally thinking, the ability of the virus to march in the human body is the key to judging the way of invasion. The reasons are as follows:

1) Whether the virus is through body fluids or blood or gradually-down infection eventually transferred to the lungs, will face a harsh environment, long-distance march may weaken the ability to spread the virus.

2) The virus has a coronary geometry, which may limit its ability to march in the human body.

3) The long-distance march of the virus in the human body takes time, which may not be consistent with the characteristics of the short incubation period and rapid spread of most cases.

 

If the above two (Droplet Virus) situations are not likely the way to cause the sever "Lung Disease", then it can be inferred that the coronavirus (COVID-19) is most likely to be (Aerosol Virus) floating in the air. Those COVID patients most likely inhaled the virus directly into (the Bottom of) their lungs, outbreaks there and spreads through breath or cough.

 

G.      Summary 

 

Combining the above, I come to the following personal views,

(1)   The symptoms of COVID-19 are severe "Lung Disease",

(2)   The "Invasion Place" of the virus is the lung, and the "Livable Place" and "Outbreak Place" of the virus are also the lung (the bottom of the lung).

(3)   People Inhalation and exhalation of the virus are the main ways of disease spreads.

(4)   The virus are floating in the air in the form of aerosol.

(5)   The prevention of COVID-19 should give priority to prevent inhale & exhale Aerosol Virus.

J.        The end words

 

This paper analyzes the spreading path of virus from the perspective of "Livable Place", "Invasion Place", "Outbreak Place" and "Refuge Place" on the basic logic. I propose the above logic in order to questioning authority and trigger thinking, whether the logic is correct or not has yet to be tested by the facts.

 

To be honest, I do not have any medical background, medical knowledge is also limited, and the above discussion must be quite layman. However, at a time when the COVID-19 outbreak is raging, some of the top medical experts advises that "healthy people do not need to wear masks", such "authoritative" advice is clearly contrary to common sense, totally misleading the public, and this is directly related to the largest COVID-19 Outbreak in Europe and USA.  "The superstition of authority is ignorance". I feel both worried and insufferable, even if I am a layman, I have a minimum of common sense, I must say no to those stupid top experts.

 

During the COVID-19 outbreak, whether healthy or not, people should wear a mask or something like mask where crowds gather. This is the strongest piece of advice!!!

Note 1: Microscopic objects usually have some physical effects that are different from normal objects, such as electrostatic effect, capillary effect, matter wave effect, diffraction, and so on.

Note 2: The floating virus is not a bullet or smoke, it is neither rigid nor difficult to destroy!  Spherical viruses may be more easily destroyed than linear viruses. Perhaps from a normal point of view, an 8-micron hole in a mask is difficult to block a 0.08-micron virus, but the actual situation may not be the case. The virus that wants to break through the mask is likely to be squeezed or pulled by microscopic forces and destroyed, and it may become a dead virus.
